2016 Empty Bowls Community Dinner

2016 Empty Bowls Community Dinner

On Friday, February 26th from 6 pm to 8 pm, OPRF High School will open its doors for the annual Empty Bowls Community Dinner. We're excited to be one of the beneficiaries of the event, and are looking forward to an evening of good food and good conversation.

Bowls are handmade by OPRF students, and for the price of admission ($15 for adults, $10 for children or students with ID), each attendee picks a bowl and gets soup donated by a number of local restaurants. The meal is eaten communally in the high school cafeteria, and presents a fantastic opportunity to meet new members of the community, as well as catching up with those you haven't seen recently. At the end of the evening, you take the bowl home with you as a unique reminder of the issue of worldwide hunger.

We hope to see you there!
