We transitioned so many people into our Open Door Housing program in the 10 months since we launched it, we anticipate reaching capacity (83 people in 65 apartments) by the end of next year - a full six months ahead of plan.
Twenty-eight very vulnerable people who were homeless and had a disabling condition moved from the streets and shelter into apartments in the first two months of this summer. That’s 28 men, women and children who now can focus on stability instead of survival, and 28 pads in the emergency shelter that are available to people who have just lost their homes.
