We seek candidates who are interested in ending homelessness in suburban Cook County, and who understand the important role of the Board in sustaining nonprofit organizations.
We are committed to having a board that reflects the rich diversity of the Suburban Cook County area in the background, experience, and skills of its membership. Therefore, ideal candidates will have broad connections within the Housing Forward 20-community service area, with specific interest in candidates from Berwyn, Forest Park, Maywood, and Austin. Housing Forward also seeks candidates that have lived experience with homelessness or housing instability.
Nominees will be asked to complete an application packet and speak with a member of the Nominating Committee. Several slots are available to fill, however we may not be able to invite all nominees to the board.
