On Thursday, June 6th, Housing Forward will host a new version of our successful Progressive Dinner, now called Feast For Good. Formerly in Oak Park, the Progressive Dinner is a chance for guests to enjoy a wonderful meal at three different restaurants. This year, we are moving to a new neighborhood, Forest Park, to experience the diverse collection of restaurants along Madison Street. with three different paths to choose from, this event will greatly beneift the clients we serve and help in our mission to end homelessness.

Currently, under development and due to open this spring, Sojourner House is a partnership of Housing Forward and the Oak Park Housing Authority. Located on the property at 324 N. Austin Ave., Oak Park, there are two residential buildings on the property.

Katrina and Alec are part of a team from Oak Park and River Forest High School who come to our Maywood offices every month through the CITE (Community-Integrated Transition Education) Program. The goal of the program is to create a smooth transition from school to post-school activities, so that students with disabilities who have completed four to five years of a high school program may successfully participate in his/her community as an adult.
